How To Build An Email Campaign In Klaviyo

What is Klaviyo?

Creating A Campaign In Klaviyo

Now that you know what Klaviyo is and why you should use Klaviyo for email marketing, let’s dive into how to create a campaign in Klaviyo.

  1. Login to your Klaviyo account and click on the “Campaigns” tab.
  2. Click on the “Create Campaign” button.
  3. Select the “Email” campaign type.
  4. Enter a campaign name and click on the “Create Campaign” button.
  5. Klaviyo will now take you to the email builder where you can design your email template.
  6. Klaviyo offers a variety of pre-built email templates that you can use or you can create your own custom template. We’ll cover high-converting email design in a future blog.
  7. Once you’ve designed your email template, click on the “Save” button.
  8. Klaviyo will now take you to the campaign flow where you can configure the campaign settings.
  9. In the campaign flow, you will need to select a trigger for your campaign. For example, you can trigger your campaign when someone signs up for your email list.
  10. Klaviyo will now take you to the “Recipients” step where you can choose who will receive your email.
  11. In the “Recipients” step, you can choose to send your email to a Klaviyo segment or to a list of specific people.
  12. Klaviyo will now take you to the “Schedule” step where you can choose when your email will be sent.
  13. Klaviyo will now take you to the “Review” step where you can review your campaign settings and make changes if necessary.
  14. Once you’re happy with your campaign settings, click on the “Launch Campaign” button.
  15. Klaviyo will now take you to the campaign dashboard where you can track your campaign’s progress and see how it’s performing.

Congratulations! You’ve just created your first Klaviyo email campaign.
