The Challenge
At the start of the project, InfinIT had no real SEO foundation, very few indexed keywords, no landing pages targeting local areas, and no vertical-specific content.
To add to the complexity, their site was built on a platform unfamiliar to our dev team, requiring custom workarounds to create scalable landing page templates.
It was a true “blank slate” SEO project, starting from zero, with big goals.
The Solution
We kicked off with in-depth keyword research, targeting:
- Local service areas in Northeast Ohio (around Cleveland)
- Industry-specific needs (e.g. healthcare, government, finance)
- Their full range of services: Managed IT, Cloud Services, Data Center, and VoIP
Using SE Ranking and other keyword tools, we analyzed competition and search volume to build a strategy.
From there, we:
- Wrote 5 local landing pages (one for each key city/neighborhood in their target zone)
- Wrote 5 vertical landing pages tailored to industries they wanted to break into
- Optimized each page with structured headers, internal/external links, imagery with alt text, and geo-relevant keywords
- Provided site-wide content recommendations to enhance relevance and structure
- Built custom page templates so their team could continue publishing future pages without dev support
All pages were written with conversion and SEO in mind, making sure the content was both searchable and valuable to visitors.
The Results
Even within a short window post-launch, we saw:
- +10 average position improvement across tracked keywords
- New visibility in local search results for neighborhoods they previously didn’t rank in
- Industry landing pages now in place for use in email campaigns and paid ads
- A scalable framework the client can use for ongoing growth
