RenegadesMedia has acquired Deep Fork Technology, an Oklahoma City-based custom software firm. Here’s what that means for our team and the businesses we serve.

Inside this Announcement:

What is Deep Fork Technology All About?

Why Did We Make This Move Together?

What Does This Mean for Existing Clients?

St. Louis, MO — On March 4th, 2026, RenegadesMedia acquired Deep Fork Technology. We’re proud to be bringing this Oklahoma City custom software and application development firm into our wheelhouse. This move significantly redefines our company and what we are now able to offer the founders, entrepreneurs, and growing businesses we work with every day. We are very excited about this and what it means for our continually expanding capabilities to serve our partners and clients.

Deep Fork Technology was founded in 2013 by Kris Dillon. For over a decade, they have built custom software, mobile and web applications, and desktop tools. They have served businesses in manufacturing, professional services, government, and more. They also specialize in early-stage development work, taking ideas through prototyping and system architecture before a single line of code is written. That well-planned, upstream thinking is exactly what makes their work consistently stand out.

Their client base spans industries and project types, but the throughline is that they know how to support businesses that need technology built around niche ways of operating. Deep Fork Technology has spent over a decade delivering quality work, and they bring a strong track record into this partnership.

RenegadesMedia helps entrepreneurs solve go-to-market problems. We help growing businesses with brand development, marketing strategy, and growth systems. While that’s still true, the businesses we work with often need more than that. They need technology infrastructure that fits their specific workflows. They’re looking for custom software that doesn’t depend on workarounds. They need data and custom tools that give them a competitive edge, rather than a patchwork of out-of-the-box platforms many of them have outgrown.

For a long time, this kind of tech wasn’t something we could offer directly. We could identify the need, point clients in the right direction, and work alongside other software providers. We couldn’t own that part of the engagement ourselves though. Deep Fork Technology helps us make up for what we were lacking.

The alignment between our two companies made the decision simple. Both teams work with the same kinds of clients. We serve entrepreneurs, founders, and growing businesses that want lasting partners (not short-term vendors). We also both approach projects remarkably similarly, starting with a discovery process, moving through architecture and prototyping, building with intentionality, and providing follow-up support for what gets launched. When RenegadesMedia founder Andrew Puckett and Kris Dillon began seriously discussing an acquisition about six months ago, the overlap in our methodologies was already evident. So was the mutual respect built over years of knowing each other. The deal came together cleanly and closed on March 4th.

It’s also worth noting that RenegadesMedia already had existing clients in and around Oklahoma City. This acquisition isn’t a push into unfamiliar territory. It’s an opportunity to deepen our roots in a market we’ve already been investing in.

We know that talk of acquisition can raise questions, so we want to be direct about what changes and what stays the same.

Your services continue under the same terms. Pricing doesn’t change. Contracts will transfer automatically with nothing to sign and nothing to renegotiate. The contact information and email addresses you’ve always used to reach the Deep Fork Technology team will continue to work just fine.

For the first 90 days, Kris and the customer-facing team remain actively involved to make sure this transition is smooth and that continuity is maintained on every active project. After that initial period, we’ll determine the best long-term structure, but our commitment to quality work and client relationships will never change. If anything, Deep Fork Technology’s clients will now have access to a broader set of resources and capabilities than they did before.

This acquisition is one part of a broader, ongoing strategy. RenegadesMedia has been building toward something more comprehensive than a marketing and design firm. We’re expanding to serve as a full-service consulting and incubation partner for businesses that need brand development, marketing strategy, growth systems, and the custom technology infrastructure to support it all.

Deep Fork Technology will operate as its own brand within the RenegadesMedia portfolio for now, with a longer-term plan to bring everything together. In the meantime, we are all already working on what comes next via smarter data operations, AI-integrated workflows, and enhanced service capabilities for clients across the Midwest and elsewhere. And we’re working to aggressively expand our portfolio of other similar acquisitions in days to come.

We’ve been carrying a big vision for some time. Deep Fork Technology is a huge step forward into the exact direction we’ve been wanting to move in. And we’re confident our clients and partners are all going to benefit significantly from this decision.
